We’re home. Finally. And our trip was really good.

I have sooo much to do for the rest of this week.

And today is the first day of school for Courtney. I’m beside myself. We’ll meet the teacher and I’ll be there for the morning. Next week is when I stop, drop and run. Either way, how’d we get to this point?

We do a lot of drawing around here. Sometimes Courtney will draw on her own, sometimes we do it together. Usually, she does her coloring thing while we do our coloring thing.

This is Paul’s coloring thing. I’m not sure what happened to my arms. Or my face. And the boobs are WAY too small. He does seem to think I have sticks for legs though…

Wordless Wednesday – Sleeping In

We’re really lucky in that, while Courtney doesn’t sleep until 10, she’ll get up in the morning and crawl into bed with us. These days she’s all about the “book! Book!” She’ll lie in bed, reading and talking to the books, under the covers and keeping us all warm. I love our mornings.

Because Courtney was sick last week, she was a bad eater. In the past couple of days she’s gotten her appetite back. She loves to dip her food. Chips in salsa, crackers in hummus and so on. Last night she decided that dipping food into food was too slow of a delivery mechanism.
