I have so much to write about regarding our vacation but today, no time and even less energy! I’m working on it though. You know, in my head working on it…
Here’s a little teaser as to how our vacation went…

Our week at the beach was full of ice cream and beer and sand and deer and exhaustion and laughter and tears and much family time but I’ll write about that later. Because of course I have to write about the Storm of the Century. Which, really, turned out not to be much at all [...] Tomorrow marks the first day of our last trip of summer 2011. Summer is already over for most of the country but for those of us with kids not in school (yet), there’s still some time to play. Of course, the 90 degree temps would lead you to believe that there’s still a lot of [...] The kids and I are finally heading home today – YAY!! I’m exhausted and I can’t wait for everyone to be in their own bed. Especially me! We had a fabulous couple of weeks, 13 days to be exact. I think I’ve decided that 11 days is my limit. Note to self for next summer. Happy day!
Every summer of my life was spent at the pool at the club my parents belonged to. I’d get up in the morning and head to the pool on my bike (or I’d walk) and after swim practice was over at 5, I’d head home. I spent all day in my bathing suit, I’m sure [...] |
