Wednesday Welcome and look at me sew

Happy Hump Day, greetings and salutations! If you’re a loyal reader (hi dad!!) bear with me while I talk about myself (oh wait, this is my blog and it’s all about me!!) and if you’re visiting from Bobbi’s site – HI!!!

A little about me, my name is Karen I’m a SAHM mom of 18 2 (it just seems like 18) and live in Atlanta. My babies are 3 1/2 (Courtney) and 1 1/2 (Patrick) and they totally rock my world and wear me out all at the same time. I’m currently trying to determine if Patrick is going to bed too late and why in the hell is he up at 6am every morning. Courtney is 3 1/2 and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde have NOTHING on her, she’s yin and yang and all over the damn place. There’s a chance that I’m losing pieces of my mind on a daily basis but they’re so worth it.

In all of my “spare” time, I try to either get a run in or do some sewing. I actually get more sewing in than running but I don’t really feel like I get in enough of either. But like anything in life, the more you practice, the better you get. I recently took 10 minutes off my 10K time and I made an entire project the other night where I didn’t use the seam ripper once. Of course, after I’m done blogging, I’m going to rip all the seams out of some quilt. Awesome. But things are really coming together with the sewing and I couldn’t be happier. Here are a few snap shots of some things I’ve just completed.

I’m slowly but surely getting things in my Etsy shop, working on getting my business launched and actually making some things for myself, my family and our home. There aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all done but I’m working on it. But if anyone has any ideas on adding more hours, I’m all ears.

  1. Leone Holder says:

If we “bare” with you, do we have to get naked? Couldn’t resist.

  2. Not so random dude says:

Heh… That may be my fault. She asked me when she was writing it and I was more than half distracted. I think I visualized Brown Bear, Brown Bear and thought “that’s not it.”

That’ll learn her to not ask the Googles.
