Wordless Wednesday

One of my favorite things in the world are fresh cut flowers.  Tulips in particular, I love tulips.  But I love fresh flowers in my home.  I love the smell and the pretty colors and watching them bloom into something wonderful.

One of life’s little indulgences that I had to give up when I stopped working was fresh cut flowers.  I also quit crack and shoes but not books.  OK, so I wasn’t smoking crack (I don’t even know, is that what one does with crack?  smoke it?) but there are things I stopped spending money on.  The cleaning service I did not give up, however.  Now who’s smoking crack?  (That entire paragraph reads like I’m smoking something.)

Point: I received some beautiful flowers for Mother’s Day.  I love flowers.  Sadly for me, I’ve left town again and had to leave my beautiful flowers behind.
