Courtney got her swine flu shot on Tuesday. She was a trooper until the moment that I put her up on the exam table. And then she lost it. She knew right away that this was a place where bad things happened. But, once she got done with the shot and I picked her up, she was fine.
My county posted on the website that they would have the shot, starting today. Courtney and I went by the county office today but we didn’t stay. There was a crazy line. And I really had to pee. And Courtney was really tired. And a little dirty. And there were, you know, germs. And people with germs. And I felt like I was pushing my luck. You know, cranky, crying babies and all that.
So I’ll try again tomorrow. I’ll hope that they don’t run out. And I’ll pee before we go.
